One of the best parts of the new system is the Taleo Sandbox. This is a great tool for us to use to use the system.
As we find new ways of doing our work, a lot of times it won't be safe to try new techniques in Taleo. That's where the Sandbox comes in. It's a separate Taleo system that's disconnected from the University network. That means we can create "pretend" requisitions and candidates in the Sandbox. Then we can try new techniques and perfect our best practices. If you want to experiment, this is the place to do it.
Go to stgou.taleo.net to get started. Use your 4x4 and password to log into the Sandbox just as you would the real system.
A few things to bear in mind, though.
Since we're not truly processing requisitions and candidates in the Sandbox, if you make too many, things will get cluttered. Please clean up after yourself when you're finished with materials there.
Please ask permission before you use other people's requisitions or candidates.
If you're using the Sandbox to test a process your team is working on, remember to assign your teammates are collaborators on your materials.
